Tall and thin Punjab. India. Circa 1980 In wool and silk; Technical characteristics: Wool velvet, flowers surrounded by silk on a cotton foundation; Density: Approx. 7000 knots per dm². Midnight blue field decorated with a thousand flowers in the shape of stylized diamonds decorated with a large central floral rosette with a star-shaped floral crown of ivory, old gold and lilac flowers; Four golden beige spandrels with stylized spearheads; Triple borders including the main lilac with flower bulbs. Good general condition. Dimensions: 280 x 165 cm.
