Not another word about pyramids. 1979. acrylic on paper and typographic text "No more word about pyramids & masts the payramids were still standing around as if they wanted to ask something". 24 x 31,5 cm. Signed and dated mirror-inverted in graphite in the lower centre, additionally inscribed on the right. - The edges very delicately scuffed. With minimal soiling on verso. The sheet in good overall condition.
Enclosed: - 2 b/w photographs and 4 facsimile leaves, the latter written mirror-inverted on chequered paper. - The photographs each on photographic paper. 1 photographic print showing three negative strips and 1 photograph in C-print. 16.2 x 25.5 cm and 18 x 24 cm respectively. - Photos show pictures of various exhibitions of Gerz`, among others "Outis, the study of art and its history has not brought our friends, the doctors, close to the muse", Duisburg 1975, "The French Wall", Badischer Kunstverein, Karlsruhe, 1975 as well as "Jochen Gerz", Galerie Delta, Brussels 1973 and the C-print showing a man probably at an exhibition setup. - In 2 places each with tiny pinholes as traces of the previous mounting. 1 photo with short tear, not concerning the motif. - 4 sheets on chequered paper, inscribed in mirror image. Copies after the artist's originals. 3 double-sided and 1 sheet written on one side. - In the corners each with tiny pinholes as traces of the previous mounting.
