Bonato, Victor Downtown United Meth. Church, St. Paul Minnesota. 1962. watercolor and ink over graphite on 3 sheets of buff paper. The sheets put together and fully mounted on paper. 22,9 x 154 cm. Dated, inscribed and with the note: "Downtown un. meth. church St. Paul, Min. 1962 P.D. S. N. R.". Inscribed in graphite by someone else. - At the margins with bumps and tears, partly going into the subject and partly backed. With larger trace of dirt in the centre. Partially with color flaking and a vertical fold trace, there with color abrasion. Verso completely covered with traces of the previous adhesive mountings. Unrealized design for a stained glass window for the United Methodist Church in St. Paul, Minnesota. With a note to Peter Dohmen, who was to take over the execution of the design with his Glass Studio of the same name. Watercolour and ink over graphite on 3 sheets of buff paper. The sheets put together and fully mounted on paper. Dated at the back side, inscribed and the note "Downtown un. meth. church St. Paul, Min. 1962 P.D. S. N. R." With inscription in graphite by someone else. - Margins with tears and bumps, some of them running into the motif. These partly backed. With larger trace of dirt in the centre. Partially with colour flaking and a vertical fold mark, there with colour abrasion. Full traces of the previous adhesive mounting on verso. - Not realised design for a stained glass window for the United Methodist Church in St Paul, Minnesota. With note to Peter Dohmen, who was to take over the execution of the design with his glass studio. *
