Framed under glass. - Minimally browned along the margins. Somewhat atelier-spawned at the back side. Well preserved, strong colours and pastose. Abstract Expressionism Abbot studied at the New York School and with George Grosz. She worked with Mark Rothko, Barnett Newman and David Hare. Along with Elaine de Kooning and Perle Fine, she was one of the three women in "The Artist's Club" and thus one of the few representatives of Abstract Expressionism.
