Henri Gabriel IBELS The Skirmish, 1895 Original color lithograph on fine vellum Signed on the plate Dimensions 39 x 29 cm The sheet bears the stamp of the publisher and the lithograph is also authenticated by the dry stamp of the publisher, L'Imprimerie Chaix. The first edition was created in 1893 for the illustrated newspaper "L'Escarmouche". The lithograph was published by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in the Imprimerie Chaix in 1895. It was part of this eponymous portfolio (plate n°6) which represented the most beautiful reproductions of illustrated posters of the great artists of the time. In very good condition, a few freckles in the margins (not affecting the image - see photos) _______ After the sale, you can collect your prizes free of charge at the Cité Rougemont, 75009 (subject to availability) or at our office in Dijon or Grenoble. Shipping is also possible for a fixed price of 20 € for France and 30 € for Europe (fixed price per package and excluding insurance). The lots will then be sent decadrated. For logistical reasons, we cannot group shipments from several sales.
