Tchemerzine describes another edition, published the same year in in-12 format with only 112 pp.: ? The 1624 collection reproduces the previous collection [in-12, 112 pp.] with 4 more pieces by Theophile, and 3 pieces about Theophile by his friends. M. Lachevre considers this edition as the pre-original of the 3rd part of the works ? (Tchemerzine).
This collection was included in the edition of the works of Theophile de Viau in 1626.
It contains among others: La Plainte à Tircis; La Pénitence; Requeste au roi; Apologie; Prière aux poètes de ce temps;
La Maison de Silvie.
A few small galleries of verses that are not difficult to read, traces of wetness; crumpled vellum, stains, and with a small lack on the back, renewed guards.
