Stole with a border on the lower part evoking stylised San Andres cacti and a frieze of side-by-side figures on the upper part of the stole, linked together by a link symbolising the cohesion of the clan Camelid and cotton threads, some snags and wear and tear Nazca transitional paracas, intermediate formative period, south or central coast of Peru, 100-400 AD +/- 142 x 63 cm Provenance: Former collection of a diplomat, built up at the beginning of the 20th century.
