Second collective edition published by Abel L'Angelier, after that of 1584, in the famous translation by Hugues Salel (1504-1553) for the first eleven books of the Iliad and that of Amadis Jamyn (1540-1593) for the thirteen following ones; the translation of the Odyssey by Jamyn remained unfinished.
