Two mid-living room tables by Charles TOPINO (paired). Beautiful classic marquetry by master TOPINO called "with utensils and flowers". They are inlaid with rosewood, various stained and satin woods. They rest on four feet in sheath mounted on bronze castors and joined by a curved shelf in front; one with letters and book, the other with a flowery branch.
The pedestal opens with 3 drawers; one with anchor and powder cases with retractable shelf, the other without shelf. The fronts are decorated with utensils.
The tray for one is with the attributes of Music and Arts; for the other in a rim of Greek nets, a small vase of flowers and goblets.
The first bears the frank stamp of TOPINO, which is more difficult to read on the other.
