Portrait of the author (in two states - before the letter and final), 100 figures by Bonnet, Charpentier and Duplessis-Bertaux, engraved under Hubert's direction, in three states (pure etching, before the letter and final). Binding signed P. Simier: long grain green morocco, gilt garland in the border of the covers, spine with false ribs richly decorated with gilt decoration, gilt dashes and dotted lines on the cups, gilt inside lace, gilt edges.
