Pretty miniature illuminated by the workshop of the famous Master François (active circa 1460-80), generally assimilated to François Barbier père, a miniaturist who occupies an essential place in the history of Parisian illumination in the third quarter of the 15th century. 172 x 111 mm. Verso with 16 lines and border, 7 gold initials, the text beginning the Complies of the Hours of the Virgin (slightly trimmed margins).
