Two embroidered bridal handkerchiefs, 1st half of the 19th century.
In linen hand thread, one of which circa 1800-1815 embroidered with a frieze of lilies and its buds, the heart of the flowers worked with a network of fine varied stitches, double C interlaced in mirror under a closed crown embroidered in a corner (good condition) and a large handkerchief circa 1820-40, the corners and sides well embroidered with small flowers in the heart adorned with fashion, foliage, palms and small cartridges of finely re-embroidered drawn thread (a few small repeats in the center).
