Four damask tablecloths, Art Nouveau, Peter Behrens, circa 1900. A tablecloth with structured patterns of soft geometric motifs, well representative of this genre "Jugenstil" design created by Peter Behrens, architect, painter and designer known for his pioneering role in German industrial design at the beginning of the 20th century and co-founder of the Deutscher Werkbund with other artists including the Belgian artist Henry Van de Velde. Small number EF embroidered in white in a corner. Dim. 1.60 m x 1.30 m. (very nice condition) A tablecloth decorated with water lilies, water hyacinths and tulips, small monogram K under a count's crown. Dim. 1.65 m x 1.60 m (good condition, two small spots) Two tablecloths with a design decorated with a frieze of contrasting polka dots and garlands of wild tulips with soft ramages very representative of the Art Nouveau style. Dim. 1.75 m x 1.60 m. (good condition for one, a small resumption and small stains for the other)
