In damask linen, large central medallion with the arms of the allied countries during the 1st World War alternating with two weeping angels, the wide frieze border of war scenes, charge of soldiers, cavalrymen and cannon, stretcher bearers and covered ambulances marked with the red cross and pulled by horses, blazons with the names of the allied countries on each side, spandrels with oval cartouches underlined by a rope, and representing a warship on the waves surmounted by Minerva, goddess of wisdom, the French and Belgian flags at her sides and a shield with the arms of Great Britain at her feet. Dim. 2.70 m x 2.05 m (good condition, one small hole)
