Damask dinner service, wedding of Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands, 1966. Two tablecloths and twenty-four napkins in linen damask pattern, wedding present made by the linen factory van Dissel van den Briel & Verster for the wedding of Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands with Mr. Claus von Amsberg, which took place on March 10, 1966. With radiant decoration, interlaced monograms B and C, closed crown, myrtles and lying lion emblem of the Netherlands. Rose scrolls with the mottos: Saevis tranquillus in undis and Quod felix faustum fortunatumque sit and the date: 10 MAART 1966. Dim. tablecloths 2 m x 1.50 m. Dim. napkins 51 cm x 52 cm (one tablecloth and fourteen napkins in mint condition, one tablecloth and ten others washed and in very good condition). We enclose two printed cards with the design of this service as well as two black and white photos of the princess and her husband admiring a napkin from the service.
