Large panel, Touraine embroidery and lace, early 20th century. Large ivory-coloured hand-threaded linen, embroidered with soft branches of foliage and flowers, some of which are decorated with Valenciennes bobbins, and where butterflies gather, their wings made of cotton tulle and embroidered, the central strip patterned with flower baskets and flower sheaves. Bands of inlays separating the lace bands and bobbin lace borders, small pompoms of trimmings, Dim. 2.25 m x 2.10 m (some small accidents, rare small spots).
