Printed by Lemercier, rue de Seine 57, in Paris. Nice proof with all margins. James Seddon (1815-1880) was an American lawyer and politician who served in the United States Congress as a member of the Democratic Party. He was also Secretary of War for the Confederate States of America during the Civil War. 52.5 x 36.3 cm. State A.
