BENSSERADE (Isaac de). The works. Paris, Charles de Sercy, 1697. 2 volumes in-12 of [4]-424-[4] and [12]-428 pages, lemon morocco, triple filet, decorated ribbed spine, inside lace, gilt edges (Masson-Debonnelle). This first edition of the works contains the dedication to the Comte d'Armagnac, great Escuyer of France, with his arms engraved on the frontispiece by Le Doyen. The second volume contains most of the ballets danced during the youth of Louis XIV, ballets whose verses were composed by the author. A second frontispiece of the same opens the second volume.
