UNUSUAL AMMONITE PAIR Crioceras curnieri & Olcostephanus sayni Cretaceous Provence Region, France   An interesting pair of two different species of ammonites together on their original matrix. The grey hardstone matrix has been professionally carved and polished to better display the well preserved ammonites of gorgeous contrasting colors of brownish-greens and silvery-grey. Each ammonite has been expertly cleaned from the matrix and presents an almost 3-dementional effect. A perfect display specimen as it sits on its natural matrix base.
