"[...] I would not have been able to tell if I was waking up without my body or if my body was waking up without me. All doctors have something to say about this hideous hallucination which takes the patient sometimes at the entrance and sometimes at the end of sleep. They don't know if it's because of the bad state of the marrow or if it's some kind of brain disorder. They don't talk about the misery without some kind of false shame."
