18-England, London: pair of hand candlesticks and their snuffers. Models with radiating ribs and gadrooned borders. Fluted binets. Fluted and gadrooned-bordered bobèches. Their snuffers with ribbed and gadrooned edges. Snunets with engraved shell decoration. Candleholders have an unidentified coat of arms in an oval (an ox's head, a two-headed eagle and a standing lion, all under an open crown).
Markings under the bodies: uncrowned leopard's head, passing lion, letter date B in a shield, a male face in profile in an oval (duty mark) for London between 29 May and 20 June 1837. Sterling silver (see: "Jackson's Silver & Gold Marks of England...", page 62).
