Yannick Noah, final of Roland-Garros - 1983 © L'Équipe June 5, 1983. Yannick Noah, by winning Roland-Garros against Sweden's Mats Wilander (6-2, 7-5, 7-6), is part of a prestigious lineage. Marcel Bernard, the last French winner, in 1946, has just awarded him the Musketeers' Cup and one of them, René Lacoste (standing on the right), is so happy about it. This stadium, built in 1928 for him and his colleagues Borotra, Cochet and Brugnon to play (and win) the Davis Cup, has once again become the most beautiful showcase of French tennis. Inkjet printing on baryta paper. Single posterior print run. Edition 1/1. 60 x 80 cm
