Bronze censer composed of two half-spheres provided with three loops, the lower part composed of six medallions rests on a small pedestal, the lid composed of six openwork medallions is topped by a lantern. Both parts are decorated with fantastic animals in profile and two-headed eagles. Romanesque art, 12th-13th century. H :15,7 cm. Ref. biblio : " Koper and brons " from the Collections of the Rijksmuseum of Amsterdam, a comparable model of bronze censer with a black patina is exhibited from the Collection of Doctor A.FIGDOR, Vienna 1930.
