20th century painter PORTRAIT OF A BOY BEAUTY Oil on canvas. 70,5 x 50,5 cm. Signed "Musman" and dated "56" at lower right. Unframed. In an interior the three-quarter portrait of a dark-skinned Asian woman leaning with her right hand against a table. She is shown in a frontal view, with her upper part of the body free, wearing a green skirt, an orange scarf over her shoulders and chest and a yellow headdress on her dark hair. She has her eyes closed and her head is slightly turned down. In her left hand she holds a small yellow fan. From the left, through a curtain, light falls on the table covered with a white blanket, on which stands a bulbous vase with bright white, red and blue flowers. In addition, the left side of the young woman's body and clothing is illuminated in a picturesque way. Harmonious reproduction in fresh colours. (12413510) (18)
