A round tabletop vaulting into the depths of the picture, on top of which a club vase with a not very protruding, discreet bouquet of flowers, whose blossoms are in harmony in their meaning with the background shimmering in various shades of green, blue and white, which serves as a foil. For de Vlaminck comparatively light composition. Important French painter of modernism in the circle of French artists, who worked mainly in close friendship with André Derain (1880-1954) and initiated the emergence of Fauvism. As a post-impressionist, he was at times advised by the gallery owner Daniel-Henry Kahnweiler. 1955 Participant of documenta 1 in Kassel. 2008 Appreciation of his works through an exhibition at the Musée du Luxembourg in Paris.
