Italian sculptor of the late 16th century PAIR HEADS CHRIST Height : 21 cm or in the cast: 20.5 cm. Probably Florence. In fired clay, as a model for the subsequent cast specimen in bronze with dark patina. The two heads are a vivid example of both the excellent sculptural quality of the clay model and the bronze casting, which was possibly made much later.
