Louis XV chest of drawers Height: 88 cm. Width: 130 cm. Depth: 63 cm. France, third quarter of the 18th century. Slightly curved legs standing in chased bronze sabots, supporting the slightly drooping frame, which is decorated with chased and open-worked ormolu ornaments. Above it is the three-drawer corpus with a continuous lower drawer and two upper drawers separated by a mock-lock shield. The Ormolu knee solutions are decorated with antique ornaments towards the top and thus already pointing in the Louis XVI style, as are the ornamental mirror image veneers on the drawers. Slightly cambered corpus with curved mirror veneer cartridges on the sides. The greenish-white veined marble top with profiled edges follows the lines of the furniture. Without key.
