PAIR OF MONUMENTAL VASES IN LAZULI RUBBER AND GOLDEN
BRONZE The vases are flanked by two large gilded bronze handles with scrolls and garlands of foliage. The base is decorated with knots, cords, a frieze of pearls and mantling.
Each vase rests on a column surrounded by garlands of oak and olive leaves, symbols of life and longevity, and topped with a bronze Corinthian capital.
Solid lapis lazuli for the bases and tops and lapis lazuli veneer for the vases and columns.
