(MANUSCRIBER)
ORANGE GUILLAUME, PRINCE
In-folio.
Handwritten document with wax stamp dated 6 October 1818 in Soestdijk and signed by Prince William of Orange (1792-1849), heir son of the King of the Netherlands William I and later William II (1840-1849). He grants the title of livrancier [sic] of his house to Hocter from Brussels, a merchant of porcelain, earthenware, glass and pottery.
Prince William of Orange fought Napoleon, particularly heroically at Waterloo. It is said that the Lion's Mound was erected at the exact spot where he was wounded...
Folds, otherwise very nice condition.
