16th century Spanish School Scene of the Deploration of Christ Altarpiece element carved in relief in resinous wood, polychrome and gilded, with estofado decoration? Height. 45, Width. 38 cm. (some accidents, cracks and upheavals, and polychrome restorations). Provenance: descendant of Jean Marie-Pie Michel Claret (1805-1886), architect-decorator of Napoleon III and protégé of Baron James de Rothschild. Scene of the deploration of Christ carved in relief on a coniferous wood by the Spanish school of the 16th century.
