In-4, yellow, grey and blue tricolour box in three horizontal bands covering back and flats, gilded decoration and mosaic in relief of grey, green, beige, blue, red and black box listels continuing on the back and inverted on the second flat, title in mosaic letters in several tones, blue ostrich lining, blue suede guards, gilded edges, preserved covers and back, shirt, case (Leroux, 1974).

It is interesting to note how the original watercolours by Victor Brauner for the "illumination" of the Alexandrian monograph differ from copy to copy.
