Original edition. Limited edition of 500 copies : one of the 475 on wove paper (#123). Illuminated copy in watercolor by Victor Brauner on 7 pages, including the first cover plate. It is interesting to note how the original watercolours by Victor Brauner for the "illumination" of the Alexandrian monograph differ from copy to copy. Certificate from the Samy Kinge Gallery dated 24 September 1996 for one of the full-page watercolours (dated circa 1955). Interesting binding decorated by Georges Leroux in tones in harmony with Brauner's watercolours.
