Roman Egypt 2nd-3rd cent. A.D.. Terracotta. H. 7.8 cm. W. 6.7 cm Prominent arched brows over heavily lidded eyes with drilled pupils and incised irises. A furrowed brow, large hooked nose, projecting ears and and puffed-out cheeks. Incisions suggesting hair on the back of the head. Condition: Intact. Traces of white coating. Formerly Coll. J. and M.
