A shallow, open kyathos decorated with stripes around the edge. Strap handle decorated with lozenges and lines as well as with a double-eye applique and a horned protome. Fine double bird motif on the inside. The outer wall is decorated with stripes and an encircling frieze of dashes hanging down from a line and stylized bird motifs. Double cross on the underside. Partial cream coating, dark brown and red matt glaze. Condition: One horn and vessel rim slightly worn. Glaze abraded in places. Slight encrustation.
