GAUTHERIN Jean (1840-1890) according to, Bronze with brown patina representing Sergeant Jean Pierre Hippolyte BLANDAN (Lyon 1819 - Boufarik 1842) standing in arms, on the base is inscribed the motto "especially do not hurry and aim just. BLANDAN" and the mention "Wounded to death at the combat of Beni Mered while fighting with 21 men against 800 Arabs in 1842", carries the signature Jean GAUTHIEZ on the base, H. 80 cm.
