Menou thanks and gives rewards to the inhabitants of a village who saved three Frenchmen who had been shipwrecked. Printed in two columns, in French and Arabic, dated in Kaire on the 13th nivôse year IX of the French Republic (January 3, 1801). Handwritten inscription, in ink, on the back: "Arab characters of Double-Canon and Gros-Romain". 43.5 x 30.5 cm. (Two small repairs on the back). Good condition.
