"Collective original edition without "Phèdre""" (cfr. Guibert's appelation), containing some variations in the ff. lim. of the preface to "Alexandre" (t. I) and pagination errors in t. II. Each piece contains a title, a preface and an engraving of its own (i.e., for the whole, 10 engravings by François Chauveau and 2 frontispieces). Enriched with the piece "Phèdre", Paris, Claude Barbin, 1677, [10]-74 pp., bound at the end of t. II. Ref. Guibert pp. 132-135. Prov. 1: Mention ms. of the ep. part. erased from the title of t. I. - 2 Jean Antoine Michel Agar, count of Mosbourg, 1771-1844, finance minister of Murat, king of Naples, peer of France and passionate bibliophile.
