[16th century book]. [SEA OF STORIES]. [Paris, Oudin Petit, 1550?]. Two parts in a single volume in-folio, from f. XLIIII to f. CCLVIII (with missing parts); [3] f., from f. I to f. CXC (with missing parts), fig. half-basane fauve early 20th c. (spine absent, detached top cover; the beginning of the first volume and the end of the second, as well as other ff. are missing, not collated in detail; stains and marks of use).
This is most probably the edition printed in Paris by Jean Réal for Oudin Petit in 1550 (cf. USTC 30715 and Brunet III, 1642). It is illustrated with wood engravings in the text, in particular two double pages: a map of the world, and a map of the Holy Land (1st part, f. J2-J3 and AA3-AA4), and a full-page crucifixion (2nd part, f. c2).
