Large and rather thin DJOCHAGHAN MORCHEKOR (Iran)
circa 1965/70
A jagged, octagonal, serrated sea field covered with a
flower seedlings, floral arrangements, flower vases and
plant crosses support a ruby rhombic medallion
vegetalized, decorated with a cruciform main flower with
Ivory, anthracite and ruby petals. Four ruby spandrels
with flowers complete the set. Two counter-borders
ivory, highlighted with chess pawns and undulating rods
frame the main ruby, all three of which are decorated
