Fine FÉRAHAN woven in the famous workshop of Master weaver MUSTAHAFI (Persia)
End of the 19th century
An ivory field frames a very original honeycomb latticework decoration, decorated with stylised polychrome floral compositions. Two "suns" dart their rays at each end of the carpet, framed by four curious brick plant spandrels. Three counter-borders with garlands of undulating flowers frame the main brick with multicoloured flowering stems.
