Late 19th and early 20th century
A large ivory field for this prayer rug, where two anthracite arches with arabesques dominate a floral vase with an exuberant polychrome bouquet. Birds complete the scene. Two "enguirlandées" counter borders and a brick main border with bouquets of flowers.
Technical characteristics :
- Silky lambswool velvet on a cotton foundation.
Density: about 8000 knots per dm2
