End of the XIX early XXth century
An anthracite rhombus enriched with a polychrome floral medallion sits at the centre of an ivory field with flowering branches. Four vegetal spandrels, wine lees, with volutes frame the whole. Two counter-borders with "lady's pawns", two with garlands of flowers and the main one with flowering foliage. All five on an ivory background.
Technical characteristics:
- Quality silky woollen velvet on cotton foundations.
- Density: about 8000 knots per dm2
