End TABRIZ (North-West Iran)
Beginning of the XXth century, woven in the famous workshop of the Master weaver DJAFFER.
The seven steps that lead to paradise form the frame of this carpet. The main brick border, as well as the six small counter-borders, all with garlands of polychrome flowers and flowers, lead us to the centre, where a large multicoloured rosette and its arrowed pendants are enthroned. It is set on an oblong counter-field with ruby accents, which is itself set on a pistachio and ivory field with arabesques. The whole is covered with multicoloured floral foliage.
