Self-taught artist, Jaber El Mahoub was born in Tunisia from a shepherd family. Arrived in France, he is very quickly defended by Jean Dubuffet and Laurent Danchin, historians of the raw and singular arts, since the early 1980s. The works painted, assembled and modelled by this extraordinary creator, are today presented by several museums.
