Chinese porcelain mug with silver and silver-gilt frames. Qianlong porcelain (1736-1795), silver mounts 800°/°°, Swedish work, probably around 1818. Cylindrical in shape, with a twisted handle, sepia decoration with a wearing scene in a blue and gold oval medallion, blue and gold braid on the edges, small crack in the neck, small wears.
Total height: 19 cm
The medal embedded in the lid shows on the obverse the portrait of Charles XI of Sweden (who reigned from 1660-1697) and on the reverse his coat of arms surmounted by the royal crown and dated 1666.
