In this painting, love is not only in the air but even in the delicate piece of papyrus in form of inklings from of a peacock-feathered quill which rests in the red bangles-filled hands of an exquisite beauty. The rosy-complexioned girl writes a secret message to her lover, in presence of her saheli. The girl is dressed in an exotic red lehenga and a chest-length blouse with a red and golden necklace contrasting her complexion. An expensive, white pearl necklace even drapes over her cleavage. A white, lightly embroidered net dupatta fails to veil her, revealing half of her torso and her caramel-brown hair with a beautiful teeka hanging down her beautifully carved forehead. Her saheli is surprisingly in the same outfit as well, however, she is not as charming as the main character whose beauty lingers over the observer's eyes for an eternity. A secretive aura prevails as they might be two kaneezes of a king and that one of them has fallen for an anonymous lover who she willingly wants to be with. The cute escape has been pictured perfectly through the finest brush strokes by Anup Gome who has filled the canvas intelligently with gorgeous hues.
