Pride meteorite, same composition as the sun!
The meteorite that fell in France in xxxxxxxx, is one of the extremely rare meteorites of the CI carbonaceous chondrites type. The Pride meteorite, as such, contains extraterrestrial amino acids (which constitute the bricks of life) and has a composition identical to that of the sun (excluding volatile compounds). Its composition reflects the composition of our solar system in formation more than 4.5 billion years ago when it was only a disk of dust that would give a star, our sun, and its procession of planets including the Earth. This meteorite is thus made up of the raw material that gave rise to the planets and later to life. Tube measuring XXXXX mm containing 75 mg of this precious meteorite.
