Campo del Cielo meteorite 121 g cut, polished metallic appearance The Campo del Cielo meteorites are very popular because they were discovered in large numbers in Argentina in and around the Chaco province and are present in all meteorite collections, often in several specimens. It is a very large meteorite of several hundred or even several thousand tons, which met the Earth more than 5000 years ago by fragmenting into thousands of meteorites as it passed through the atmosphere. This 120 g meteorite has a very nice external shape with the patina of its discovery. The meteorite, which is in fact the result of a meteorite cut in two, weighing 121 g for 40 x 35 x 20 mm, has a polished surface and the rest reveals the patina of a stay of more than 50,000 years on Earth.
