Note on the life and work of Jean-Rodolphe Perronet, founder of the École des Ponts et Chaussées. The final plates represent, one, the Yvette canal project, the other the Concorde bridge (formerly the Louis-XVI bridge and the Revolution bridge), shown in two medallions (one for the profile, the other for the ground plan).
