Dutch School (second half 16th Century), A portrait of a noble lady holding a vanitas skull, presumed to be Catharina Sandelin van Herenthout, dated '1576' (upper right); annotated 'fin de doleurs' (lower centre on the skull), oil on panel, 52,5x40 cm,Accompanied by a letter of the Iconographisch Bureau, The Hague, 24 March 1966, stating that the present portrait probably depicts Ms. Catharina Sandelin van Herenthout, ancestor to the families van Tuyll and van Cats de Raet.
