An early George V Scottish silver small salver or dish, the oblong form with beaded and gadroon rim detail enclosing a Latin inscription to the centre, and raised on four bun feet. Hallmarked Glasgow 1911. Length 6.75 (17cm), weight 6.29 ozt (195.7 grams). Appears in fairly good overall condition, displaying some expected tarnishing and surface wear, marks and scratches commensurate with the age and use. Latin inscription appears of religious interest. Hallmarks clear and legible. Maker's mark is similar to the one for Muirhead & Arthur.
